The Skree Knives frost never left, a cold wind choking out life and spirit, a barren waste. The unfortunate that get caught are eternally entombed. Nothing gets to leave—no decomposing, no afterlife, no true-death. 

Still, a great beast stepped down from above. But it was a mistake; this was not the land they expected, and their life was cut short. Their cathedral-carcass lies bare upon the earth and dirt, waiting.
